The past couple of times I tried to draw on my Photoshop I failed at creating anything aesthetically appealing. I thought it was my Wacom tablet, it's only the Bamboo type [this year I should seriously try to upgrade my setup]. The small dimension you're supposed to use w/ the stylis/pen made me feel a little "caged." Therefore I tried drawing by hand. Despite feeling more in control of my lines I still failed to create anything good. I started getting frustrated because a flood of beautiful, mentally captivating images have been pouring into my mind for the past few months. I've been dying to get them out. Where have I been??? A lot has gone on w/ me personally since my last submission. I'm afraid I'm losing my touch. The same as last year, I am saying to myself that I need to draw more. It's rather difficult when you have one full-time job, one part-time job, & going to college full-time. But, is there really any excuse? I don't think so. :/ since June 14, 2008 I've become single for 3 months now, rather grand, actually. & I am now living on my own. I h a v e n e v e r f e l t s o f r e e .

On June 10th it was mine & my boyfriend's THREE year anniversary!!! I'm so happy that we've made it this far. The only bummer is that he's currently deployed in Iraq (since Sep '07). He won't be back until hopefully before Thanksgiving. On the other hand, the conversation we had that night made me so happy & had me smiling throughout the entire day the next day while @ work. Sorry for all the mushies, but I feel so lucky to have bagged such an awesome (understatement) guy. :D I'm even more excited to what this winter & what the next 3 years will have in store for us.
